    Despite their united front and their show of dominance, The Aquilonians are a divided people. Their kingdom, the so-called "Flower of the West", is the unrivalled jewel of the World of Hyboria. It is a land of prosperous cities, great wealth, enlightened culture, with a king-sanctioned order of religious freedom, where no faith is oppressed.

    In Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures, playing an Aquilonian will ensure a varied and diverse gaming experience. Landing somewhere in the middle of the Cimmerians and the Stygians on many different levels.


  • Weapons

    There are many different types of weapons in Age of Conan, and some are usable only with certain classes. Along with this, there are many different ways of obtaining different weapons. Some of these include trading with or buying from other players, npc shops, quests, or even from the mobs that you will kill as you journey through the world of Hyporbia.

  • Armor

    Such is the case with weapons,there are many different types of armor in the game. Each type of armor has it's own benefits, and not all are available for all classes. Recommendations based on class can be found in each classes' section.


  • Armor Types

    Armor is good for all other damage dealers. The different types of armor are cloth, light, medium, heavy, and shield armor. Not all equipping. It goes along with heavy and medium armor generally, which are the best choice for Dark Templars. Cloth armor is great for all of the different mages.


  • Archetypes Overview

    The archetypes are separations of characters by types, such as tanks, damage dealers, healers, etc. These are split up into four main categories: Priests, Soldiers, Rogues, and Mages. Under each archetype, there are also three different class choices. Each class is different from the others, and not all classes are available for every race.


  • Tortage Starter Guide

    At start there really is not much of a choice. Just run through the tutorial area, completing it as soon as possible. There are two treasure chests that I do grab to get something to wear. The first is right at the very beginning, after you save the girl take the first left, it is at the end of a very short road after you kill a mini-boss. The second is after you drop the ape boss, take a right and after killing two more apes there is another treasure chest.


  • Age of Conan Exploits

    This week I got the DT to 79, and we did quite a bit of city building. One part of the game I am not focusing on (right now) is crafting, this is due to many reasons. The Devs have a lot of fixes to implement as well as the fact that my guild already has a lot of crafters in it.
